These are the rescue when the afternoon hunger and desire for something sweet creeps up.
They are also perfect for packed lunches.
Afternoon Bars Recipe
- 5 medjool dates
- 8 dried apricots
- 1 1/2 dl almonds
- 1/2 dl hemp seeds (or other nuts)
- 1 handful of cocoa nibs (can be omitted)
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 2 tsp. Brain blend
- 1 nip salt
COURSE OF ACTION:
Chop the nuts in your food processor or with a knife. Put all ingredients in the food processor and process to a mass. Then roll into balls.
They last approx. 1 week in the fridge, but they are probably eaten before then.
